Responsible for managing a team of 12 field Service & Repair engineers. Transport - Managing a fleet of 12+ vehicles and keeping them compliant with all transport regulations. Organising any routine maintenance & servicing. Organising repairs when necessary. Carrying out routine vehicle inspections to maintain road worthyness & ensure compliance with VOSA regulations. Monitoring driving hours within the team to ensure compliance with VOSA & the working time directive. Carrying out routine Drug & Alcohol testing. Payroll - Responsible for collating and sending working hours data to our payroll department as well as calculating any accumulated overtime throughout the pay period. Managing the payroll related elements of things like: long term sickness, compassionate leave, parental leave, paternity/maternity, flexible working requests etc. Performance management - Responsible for the development of team & individual KPI performance. Ensuring that training and development is provided in order to level up efficiency and productivity.Technical - Using my extensive knowledge of domestic appliance maintenance and repair to provide technical support and advice to technicians in the field. Operations - Responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the appliance repair network within the Yorkshire region. Organising workloads and liaising with routing departments to ensure the highest levels of productivity are met. Managing resources to ensure the teams workload targets can be consistently achieved to the highest standards. Reacting swiftly to any issues that could be harmful to the effective operations of the Yorkshire region as well as the wider national network.Wellbeing & Supoort - MHFA trained with MHFAEngland. Responsible for the safe & professional installation, repair and servicing of all domestic appliances including Gas cooking & laundry appliances (Natural Gas & LPG) as well as all electric, refrigeration & wet appliances, both integrated and free-standing.
