The Operations Coordinator organizes baseball and/or softball activities for events such as instructional clinics, multi-day camps, weekend tournaments, weeklong tournaments, and other related programs. For Chevy Tour, the Operations Coordinator focuses on many different aspects from hiring process, trailer concerns, managing a team from home base in Aberdeen. For camps, the Operations Coordinator works to design instructional drills, games/contests, and an overall structure to the camp activities that will result in a memorable baseball camp experience. For Tournaments, the Operations Coordinator will be involved in all of the pre, during, and post operational components to ensure a high quality experience for the players, coaches, and parents from each team. The Operations Coordinator will supervise interns to make sure all operational components are up to the Ripken Baseball standard.

My experience leading a group of coaches to 81 different camps nationwide presented many strenuous challenges. My responsibilities consisted of handling any problems, questions, and concerns whether it was hotel, team, car, or camp related. Utilized time management skills to be able to oversee the whole operation while still managing to teach kids ages 6-13 nationwide the fundamentals of baseball, the Ripken Way. Creating a fun, dynamic atmosphere for clinic participants and posing as a positive role model.
