I head up site-based and remote-working teams of people who manage the data for our validation and fulfilment software. Beginning as a claims handler, and proceeding to supervisor within the claims area of our business, my role as a subject matter expert of the products that we deal with made me the logical choice for Product Manager. This role combines my insurance claims knowledge with my technical expertise. The database management is vital to the accuracy of our software and has lead to this becoming a market leader in the UK, ROI, and Australia. With almost 20 years of involvement in the technology sector, I have sought to increase and enhance the product database of our validation software that is utilised by large general insurers; created training packs; and provided training sessions for claims handlers both internally and externally. This expertise has also enabled me to supplier manage some of our fulfilment partners, such as, B&O and Audio T. In the last year, I have also incorporated graphic design projects into my role. This has been inclusive of creating and printing posters for internal and external client use; designing our current front of house signage for our Apple service centre; producing bespoke videos for clients, which are utilised to garner additional revenue via sales; creating unique logos for our clients to see that the software is fit for their specific purpose. In addition, I also write and create the monthly market intelligence that is sent to clients to alert them to any changes in the market, new products, financial forecasts, and shifts in technology.
