My name is Luke Smith and I am currently studying Business and Finance at Drexel University, where I graduate from in September of 2024. I have hands on experience in the financial sector through my previous internships and co-ops. My first experience was at DT Investment Partners, an RIA in Chadds Ford, where I shadowed the head of sales and marketing for the summer. I also completed a Drexel sponsored co-op with FS Investments, an alternative asset manager in Philadelphia. As an advisory associate, I worked on the sales desk for 6 months and learned a lot about the consultative sales approach, financial markets, and working in teams.In the future aim to leverage my experiences and skills in lead generation, sales, and marketing to drive success at a top investment firm. The hands on experience I gained at DT and FS has shaped my understanding of the industry and I am eager to apply my knowledge in a full time position.
