I am a graduate of NCSU with a BA Plant and Soil Sciences with a concentration in Crop Production/Agronomy and a minor in Ag Bus. Management. I also attended NC State’s Agricultural Institute and graduated with an Associate of Science in Field Crop Technology. I was born and raised on a small family cattle farm in Wayne County, NC where we raise around 25-30 black Angus beef cows and have around 80 acres of pasture and dry hay. All my life I have been working on the farm with my family, and I plan to keep that going even after college graduation. In 2014 I began working as a crop and soil consultant with an independent business in my hometown. Every break from school, I continue to work on the farm and as a consultant. Agriculture has been a major part of my everyday life and I have loved every minute of it, and I am very passionate about my work.
