Hello, my name is Luke Voss, I am a second year Electrical Engineering major and MBA student at the University of Cincinnati. I am driven to pursue my academic and professional goals while continuously enhancing my skillset.MY GOALSKnowing what type of job I wanted was not hard. I love pushing my boundaries and exploring new ideas and challenges. Pursing a bachelor's degree at the University of Cincinnati in Electrical Engineering and a MBA was the best option. This allows me to take on a challenge while also allowing me to be a better version of myself. I know attaining a degree in Engineering will allow me to reach my career goals of securing a meaningful job in the future.WHY I PURSUE ENGINEERINGTaking multiple electives in high school allowed me to find out what I wanted to do with my life. Taking Graphic design, Photography, and (CAD) classes allowed me to find my passion for design. This passion for design and my drive to challenge myself led me to Engineering and Business. Studying Engineering and Business allows me to become a better person and make an impact in the world.MY QUALIFICATIONSI enjoy challenging myself to become a better engineer and overall person.Inside the classroom, I was tasked to build a robot with three other group members. This improved my skills on communication and teamwork. It also allowed me to become more proficient in problem-solving and leadership. Outside the classroom, I have joined multiple organizations and completed multiple volunteering hours. I am part of the UC boxing club which allows me to train and work with a team to push one another. I am also part of the investing club where we share ideas on how to better improve our financial habits. Volunteering to coach a youth volleyball team is one of my favorite activities.
