With over 10 year's experience in the events industry, I'm very proud to have led the team behind the Silverstone Classic (now Silverstone Festival) since 2011, during which time we've grown the event from a small club event to one of the world's premier classic motor racing festivals.As a team leader with a key strength in diplomacy, I'm good at relating to people, understanding their needs and considering their opinions whilst always retaining one eye on the bigger picture with a view to achieving win-win solutions. In a very work-intensive environment, I remain balanced and calm when stress levels rise, and am good at keeping a cool head, staying upbeat and keeping the team on track.With a background in mathematics and finance, I'm an agile thinker, a fast learner, and I enjoy solving complex problems and working out the components of complicated tasks, opinions and ideas. It's in my nature to think logically and analytically using reason, focussing on objectivity and through learning constantly, whether that's work-related or otherwise.Outside of work, there are so many awesome things I love so here's a shortlist: my wife and kids, (proper) music, football, snowboarding, motorsport, skateboarding, my Harley, yoga, video production, DIY and travelling amongst many others.
