Baringa Partners is a leading, independent business and technology consultancy. I have been working in the market-leading Climate Change practice, supporting financial institutions set strategies and targets to achieve Net Zero through standards, data and analytics.

Ignata is a leading group of recruitment and talent consulting businesses. Created as a new business in 2015, the group has grown to £150m of revenues through acquisition, backing entrepreneurs to start new businesses and strong organic growth. I led the company as CEO and was an investor since inception.Between Nov 2012 and July 2015, I was the COO of Hamilton Bradshaw Private Equity where I led all the investment activity as well as the portfolio management and value add teams. The portfolio held over 40 majority investments at the time.

Start Up Loans was created as an independent company, funded by the Government, to provide small loans to anyone over 18 in the UK wanting to start a business. The company provides pre-business support, low-cost personal loans and mentoring to help people start their own business. I joined as a Director when the business was still a concept and targeted a £10m pilot scheme. I was variously the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chaired the Nominations and Remuneration Committees and also sat on the Audit & Risk Committee.I left Start Up Loans having led the merger with the British Business Bank. By this point, Start Up Loans had provided over £450m of lending to support the creation of over 60,000 new businesses. The scheme provided a strong Value for Money impact for the UK having delivered £3.30 of economic benefit for every £1 spent. I am hugely proud to have played a part in this UK success story and I am very honoured to have been awarded an OBE in the 2018 New Year's Honours List for services to Small and Medium Enterprises for my input to the creation and development of the Start Up Loans Company.

Odgers Berndtson is the UK's leading executive search business. I joined to lead the Financial Services practice and to support the CEO in the development of the overall business as COO. I created the Green Investment and Infrastructure practice and counted the Green Investment Bank as a key client providing both recruitment and strategy support to the development of this new bank.

I joined MCG PLC to lead the global M&A activities which included the Class 1 acquisitions of Kurt Salmon and Ineum Consulting (Deloitte France) as well as CBH Inc. I also led the creation, from start-up, of some advisory businesses. Over time I moved to creating and leading a new division, called Enterprises, made up of the smaller businesses within MCG. In early 2009 I moved to take the leadership of the UK businesses and to merge Ineum Consulting, Parson Consulting, and Viaduct Consulting with Kurt Salmon Associates. I led this business as Managing Partner.

I joined the company when it was Andersen Consulting, as a Business Analyst in the Strategy team, working with Investment Banking and then Energy clients. I worked through the company to become a Senior Manager in 2005 with one year out working in a tech start-up. From 2004 to 2006 I set up and led Accenture's investments into joint venture technology partnerships. This was part of the Office of the CEO activities.
