Project: Study the relationship between perceived hierarchy and perceived creativityAs a research assistant, I conducted literature reviews for creativity measurements test and hierarchy manipulation methods (15+ in total). I cleaned and organized ~200 collected videos from the Hackathon event in preparation for data analysis. I recruited ~10 participants for the pilot study and collect responses for improving the surveys used in this study. I performed t-tests, Pearson’s correlation test, and reliability check with SPSS to analyze the data collected.

Sourced candidates from channels like University Websites, ZipRecruiter, Job Boards, and LinkedIn. Sourced ~500 candidates per week and screens 50-100 candidates per week, and responsible for scheduling interviews. I worked with talents who have strong academic backgrounds, researchers, Ph.Ds., software engineers, etc.As the recruiting event planner, I was responsible for arranging the Bay Area Career Expo event, had 50+ companies participated and 200+ attendees. Participated in over 100 overseas recruiting events, extremely familiar with the recruiting process and costs. Managed overseas 5+ recruiting events for Chinese Universities (e.g. UESTC and SCU) and Companies (e.g. Vivo). I ran 40+experiment sessions and collected data through online surveys and Implicit Association Tests. I presented the research project and answer questions when the project leader was absent during the lab meetings.

Project: Study whether implementing memory enhancing techniques in the CBT sessions leads to a better result. As a research assistant, I provided routine assessments to therapists and patients with depression in order to examine the treatment progress. Received training regarding conflict avoidance, proper demeanors around mental patients, and experiment ethics. Organized and kept track of each data files through Excel; fixed 5+ data films through Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
