Pulling from a media career that has spanned strategy, creation and campaigns for global brands like Discovery, World Economic Forum, BBC, TravelWeekly, Thomson Reuters, PageGroup and Conde Nast Traveler (US), I have learned to understand both intuitively and through trial and error, what moves people to act. In the process, I've discovered the power of brand storytelling to drive culture and make businesses better.As a brand editor, I help create lasting content platforms built with customer curiosity at its core. My passion lies in utilising proven journalistic method, then working alongside top creatives and data experts to drive a brand strategy forward. I recently joined content solutions agency CP5, as its Chief Executive. Together with co-owner Howard James, we run an agile business whose goal is to help Asia's businesses master the recovery – and in the process, deliver "business content unleashed".Previously, with fast-growing content agency Novus, I led editorial direction for the relaunches of Discovery Channel Magazine (three time winner of Asia's top independent print prize, the SOPA Award for Excellence). We also successfully relaunched both Ascott Living and Under the Banyan Tree. Promoted to Director of Consumer Content, I worked with a passionate and enabled team, spearheading B2C output for HSBC Premier & HSBC Private Bank, InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG), Tourism Australia, Temasek, STB, and The Republic of Singapore Navy. More recently, I spent close to four years in-house as the Asia Pacific content lead for global recruitment brand Michael Page. Its content mission focused on executing a regional content strategy, then together with a talented team, ideating and empowering campaigns in China, India, Australia and Southeast Asia – including the multi-discipline future-of-work platform, Tomorrow's Talent. I love working with talented people chasing tough goals – and in the process, deliver award-winning work. My style thrives on an honest and open environment: one of planning, discussion and shared purpose. Most of all, with the right teamwork and belief, I’ve learned how great work can be profitable, fun and drama-free for all concerned.
