My current role as an administrator within the HR department at RSK Group Ltd involves being across all the processes of the employee life cycle, but it doesn't stop there. RSK are an international environmental consultancy group and I work within the Agricultural, Land & Property Management division. I cover a vast array of HR related administrative tasks such as producing employee correspondence and contracts individually or in bulk, liaising with and writing on behalf of company directors, responding to all manner of queries in the Division's HR inbox, and managing records within the HR database system (Iris Cascade).I regularly apply my communication skills to produce relevant written pieces, adjusting the tone as necessary. I frequently communicate with my colleagues in the HR department to share knowledge and contribute to a tight knit, productive and supportive team. I have also become a HR point of contact for directors seeking administrative or policy advice, whilst building my knowledge of the application of company policies in various circumstances. I am trusted to manage elements of the HR role independently, many of which I have learned quickly on the job.Recently, I have also branched out to take on some projects related to something I have learned I really enjoy - employee engagement. I work across multiple employee-focused departments to create better engagement with employees on an individual level, and to make them excited at the prospects available to them within RSK. This in turn creates a better working environment and inevitably leads to personal and company success.

This started as an administration role - assessing applications made by the public to join the local social housing scheme. I had to hit the ground running with a working knowledge of the policy used to allocate housing, balanced with an understanding of the unique situations of each applicant. My attention to detail was quickly noticed and within a month of commencing this role I was invited to work on a project to update the application process. I have been heavily involved in identifying issues and presenting solutions to improve the current process, and I have had to liaise constantly and clearly between different parties involved in the project. This has all been whilst balancing the administration work as I continue to assess applications.

I work on a marketing account for Lavazza through Mash, in which I demonstrate and sell coffee machines to consumers at John Lewis & Partners

This work is synonymous with my other current entry for Lavazza. Mash Staffing have a marketing account with Lavazza to promote and sell their coffee machines in John Lewis stores. I am contracted by Mash to represent Lavazza in store, and have been trained with product and brand knowledge so as to be able to effectively demonstrate and sell the machines.

Worked on a self employed basis with a variety of marketing agencies for events and campaigns with a huge spectrum of brands - such as Formula 1, Pepsi, and Acer to name just a few.
