Upon graduating from Anderson University (in 1998), Luke was an integral part of implementing the in-house television production facilities for Bill and Gloria Gaither at their Gaither Studios facility in Alexandria, Indiana.Renner was fortunate to be nominated for a Gospel Music Association Dove Award, earned 8 gold and 9 platinum RIAA video awards, and directed projects which spent over 400 weeks on Billboard Magazine's "Top Video Sales" charts (over 30 of those spent at number 1). His directing experiences have carried him around the globe. Luke has worked as a freelance director, editor, shooter, and photographer and has filled the director's chair at venues the likes of Carnegie Hall, The Beacon Theater, and the world renowned Sydney Opera House. He has worked alongside numerous recording artists including Paul Simon, Randy Travis, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Michael W. Smith, and Andraé Crouch.In 2003, Luke and his wife Adrian started Fireside International, a non-profit work that uses storytelling to better the lives of those suffering from poverty around the world.Fireside International’s programs include (HANDS Across Haiti, The Caribbean Institute of Media Technologies, and The Learning Village).After living in Haiti full time to address issues in the educational system, Luke and his family returned to the United States to pursue additional community development closer to home.Today, in addition to the work of Fireside International, Luke co-owns & operates The Story Shop, an award-winning communications company specializing in storytelling as a vehicle for corporate & social advancement.
