We take a personalised, patient-centric approach—with a focus on the application of genomics—targeting key points along the cancer clinical care pathway.My current role involves QC, curation and presentation of germline and somatic variants, as well as creation and release of patient reports for the ctTSO500 assay. I also continue to support our current curators, bioinformaticians and clinicians by completing research tasks that enable workflow efficiency and SOP fine-tuning.Key Responsibilities:- Curation of ctDNA panels- Supporting curation and reporting of the WGTS/ctDNA genomic analysis generated by the UMCCR Genomics Platform team- Completion of projects in areas related to cancer curation and bioinformatics- Delivery of oral presentations to curators, bioinformaticians and researchers at weekly meetings within the UMCCRKey Accomplishments:- Completed training to curate NATA accredited ctDNA assays- Presented completed cases at multiple MTB meetings- Updated an outdated WGS gene list, which will be used by the team to curate WGTS cases- Created individual tumour-specific gene driver lists, presented this work in a research meeting for feedback. Outputs enable increased efficiency to find diagnostic significance of genes, which can be reported and tiered via AMP guidelines.
