Workplace Lead
Current•Project managing internal office events across global offices (company all hands, C-Staff meetings, learning talks, customer events, and happy hours) at a cadence of ~15 events per week•Coordinating large-scale events (~300 guests) with high-level customers (Google Next, Asana Together World Tour, AWS Loft)•Acting as liaison between the janitorial team, culinary team, AV team, and employee experience team to coordinate and manage event logistics•Working as first point-of-contact for big meeting hosts across all departments•Scheduling, maintaining, and rearranging global event space and conference room calendars •Collaborating with Employee Resource Groups to strengthen community•Creating EPOCH invites for internal and ERG events•Nurturing culture enhancements•Developing, writing, and updating Slab policies around office culture and building safety•Running workplace orientation and new hire office tours•Communicating updates and announcements to global population•Managing shipping and receiving - point of contact for deliveries and vendors•Helping with large scale office move into a new 268,000 sf headquarters•Maintaining a safe space during the pandemic, including shutting down and reopening operations•Swag creation and distribution • Purchasing and distribution of workplace and IT equipment - both in office and wfh•Maintaining culture and values across global offices •Traveled to Vancouver and NYC to step in as Workplace Lead and facilitate "return to office" after covid shutdowns, including the creation of seating plans and onboarding of new employees
