I have recently completed in my final year of studying Architecture BA (Hons) at Northumbria University, Newcastle. I am a highly motivated learner and never shy of a challenge.As a highly enthusiastic student, my design and communication is all about developing a distinct style that can be read by all means. Within Architecture, all aspects interest me, but in particularly designing within the influence of context and materiality.I have often explored these topics during design projects and also through theoretical reports during my three years of study.I have excellent organisational skills and have demonstrated this by planning my university work in order to meet deadlines.I am a conscientious and hard working individual who is able to work both independently and as part of a team. At university I had to work with and assist other students with the preparation of group tasks but also have to undertake designated tasks on my own. I am able to work under pressure and have assumed responsibility when I took some voluntary work in a very busy restaurant. At times I had to work in a very stressful environment, ensuring that the demands of customers were met. As a confident and decisive person, I enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures, during the past years, I have helped out with various charities and participated in cycling journeys through Morocco & South Africa all to donate money, as well as helping to build watering towers and shelters in the deprived areas of the outskirts of Cape Town.
