Profile bio

About Bryan Luu

My role as a Curriculum Developer with the National League of Cities (NLC) is utilizing a culmination of my work and leadership experiences for the betterment of the US. I am helping NLC with developing the Local Infrastructure Hub (LIH), sponsored by Bloomberg Philanthropies, with developing learning modules for small and medium-sized cities to optimize their infrastructure grant applications. With the enactment of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the U.S. government is prioritizing the need to finance and upgrade infrastructure nationwide over the next 5 years, and I want to play a role in supporting historically disinvested cities with their growth potential. With a multidisciplinary background in civil engineering, urban planning, and community engagement, my hope is to provide these cities with the opportunities and benefits of economic development.

Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Customer Service, Management, Microsoft Excel, and 23 others.

Curriculum Developer

Current

Washington, District Of Columbia, United States

My role involves creating tangible, educational content for small-to-medium sized cities across the country. I help to research grant programs offered by the federal government and identify the crucial topics to support these cities with creating a competitive grant application. I have grown my coordination skills on the daily by having to interact with subject matter experts (SMEs), content coordinators, and my internal team. The work is difficult because nothing similar has been done before, but I am grateful for the opportunities to help historically underinvested communities fulfill their growth potential.
