Responsible for daily control of vessel and yard activities, efficient management of equipment, and yard planning allocations in line with the hourly productivity and overall performance, also considering safety measures set by the management.IMPORT AND EXPORT MONITORING•Close monitoring all factors to be consider during discharge activity to ensure that all containers received from the vessel have been confirm to a yard position.•For loading activity, ensure smooth feeding operation of containers from export area to the vessel minimizing re-handling works.•Allocate equipment like prime movers (PM), Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG), Loaded Stacker (LS) and Sidelifter (SL) using XPS to yard locations that need to work priority.•Monitor yard congestion; coordinate with Yard Assistant and Safety Officer when incident occurs.•Communicate and give instructions to equipment operators via radio when needed.•Continuous monitoring of vessel activities; coordinate with vessel checker and vessel supervisor to attend issues in-regards with damage containers, factors affecting the flow of discharge and loading operation, and breakdown of cranes •Ensure to meet the hourly productivity of 18 to 25 crane lifts an hour.•Monitor truck dwell times; ensure TDT is achieve or outside truck will be serve within 45 minutes considering the receiving and delivery transaction of every trucks.YARD MONITORING•Optimize all on-going Yard Process through XPS.•Coordinate housekeeping activity (transfer containers) created by the Yard Utilization Supervisor.•Assign equipment such as RTG, Loaded Stacker and Sidelifter to the housekeeping locations and other yard activities.•Locate container from yard alternative/possible locations through NAVIS N4 when necessary.•Attend immediate concern to problems such as unlocated containers, hanging bays, breakdown equipment, breakdown outside trucks, that could affect the flow of operation.
