Covid 19 has cut my business at Luxe rentals by over 90% so my team and I looked for new opportunities. In March and April we designed and built covid 19 test sites for several local CIUSSS's. We designed, built out and delivered Quebec's first and most efficient drive through test site. Then we moved on to a new idea. There was an acute lack of specialty Kosher grocery delivery available in Montreal. We sourced local product, registered a name, studied and self educated ourselves and then opened delivraison.ca. We built an @shopify store and we fine tuned the product offering. In the first 3 weeks we took the average order from $25 to over $100, we increased individual item markup from 10% to 30% and set a goal to get the average to 35%. After a deal with a subcontractor fell though, we added fresh produce and started to develop our own bakery items. We will continue to add new items and increase profitability while growing the average revenue per order. Update coming soon...

Location Gervais, founded in 1919 is a traditional party rental company based in Montreal and Quebec City. In April of 2012, location Gervais was acquired by the owners of Luxe rentals and a third partner creating a powerhouse in the Quebec rental industry. By incorporating Luxe rentals Haute Coutelerie line of modern flatware, tableware, glassware and unique catering and display equipment to the unique decor, modular collections and innovative products from Luxe rentals, we created a unique product offering that lit up the Quebec market. Brian Harris and the Luxe team successfully grew the combined sales of the companies by using the expanded product offering to grow market share for the group. Brian also worked with the team to improve productivity, customer service and developed techniques to benefit all the companies in the group by creating synergies within the group and eliminating redundancies. Brian worked towards the ultimate goal of creating one efficient unit with common goals for all departments. From sales, marketing and customer service to transport and warehousing.In August of 2014, Brian sold his shares in location Gervais to focus on other projects.
