Having worked for different companies for the last 20+ years, I have gained a multitude of experience with respect to the preparation of sales and use tax, multi-state income and franchise tax, filing extensions and payment, audit engagements, calculating payroll taxes, assessing regulatory compliance, as well as driving project duties across cross-functional teams. I have spent 18 years across two separate tax function roles, most recently as a senior tax analyst, at IDT. I have had the unique opportunity to work on numerous high-level engagements such, cost-cutting initiatives and process improvement work streams. As a result, I have been recognized for consistently taking on additional responsibilities and have been rewarded for my efforts with bonuses and promotions. I always bring 100% effort to the work that I do given my passion for tax accounting and payroll administration. I take great pride in preparing financial reports and income tax statements with a drive for analytical excellence. Prior to working at IDT, I was a tax analyst at Finlay Fine Jewelry, my major responsibilities were to lead tax reporting, audits and payroll taxes. I was also responsible for the preparation and payment of all business licenses, gross receipts, net profit and various other tax returns. This included maintaining business license tax calendar and handling all correspondence and oral communication with various taxing authorities and Finlay personnel.
