Hi 👋I am Luís Moreira, a Biomedical Engineer, specialized in Medical Electronics in 2019, at the University of Minho. During my Master's Degree, I have done a 5-month international collaboration in Marsi Bionics S.L., Madrid, Spain, acquiring knowledge of pediatric gait exoskeletons. In 2020, I have participated as a Research Fellow in 1 research project (SmartOs: SMARt control of a stand-alone active Orthotic System Research (NORTE-01-0145-FEDER-030386)), developing wearable technologies for gait analysis and rehabilitation. Currently, I am developing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in CMEMS, at BiRDLab (http://birdlab.dei.uminho.pt/), University of Minho, under Grant 2020.05711.BD, co-financed by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. My research focuses on developing Assist-As-Needed control strategies for a smart orthotic system aiming a personalized gait rehabilitation oriented to the user's needs and motion intentions.
