Mechanical engineer with Master's degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering and Management. More than 20 years of experience in the Aeronautical area, most of them in the loads analysis department. Since 2009, as Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) Designated Engineering Representative, I supported ANAC in airworthiness certification process finding compliance of the Embraer engineering analysis with the certification requirements.I worked for many years at Embraer calculating and leading teams of engineers in the design / certification (Part 25 and Part 23) of airplanes in the Structural Loads area. The certifications took place mainly for ANAC, FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency). As Project Manager, I owned portfolios of projects to manage, promoting the definition of the project's scope with the Market Strategy area and monitoring the project according to the defined deadline and costs until the end of the execution. In these projects, there were interfaces with areas like Market Strategy, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and suppliers. The scope was varied, which could be a major structural change in the airplane, a development of a new interior, the development of a new battery, or the certification of new avionics software for the airplane. The cycles of these projects could vary from 2 months to 2 years.I also have experience in structuring business areas according to Lean concepts. Starting with the vision of excellence definition, passing through the process mapping, standardization, indicators (KPIs) and the use of Lean tools to enter in a virtuous cycle of continuous improvement.
