I am the product owner in the SCRUM team developing an application for researchers to plan and monitor project budgets for H2020 funding applications and project execution.

As a senior grants specialist in the central research support office I cater to VU University researchers and VUmc medical scientists. In long term trajectories I match research departments and individual scientist to funding programmes and call topics and support the entire process from consortium building and proposal development to submission of a competitive proposal. Furthermore, as a specialist in a portfolio of programmes, I analyse evaluation results of submitted projects and other trends in the funding landscape to build a longitudinal dataset. Development of a strategic plan and roadmap for a H2020 coordination and support action for European research on health systems and services (DG SANCO). Responsible for the organization of an international workshop series collecting stakeholder input and feedback on solutions.

Developing an institutional strategy to secure research funding for multi-disciplinary research projects on work, care and welfare.

Worked for a number of clients on grant applications in MSC ITN, ERC and FP7 Cooperation programme. Services included full application development, project outline design, communications with partners, reviews of draft proposal, drafting of graphic materials and submission of the proposal. Numerous proposals were granted and succesfully executed without major amendments.
