A quick introduction to me: I hold over 9 years’ experience in the PBSA sector with 8 years in Site & Team Management. I’m fascinated my Politics and Psychology and when I’m not deep diving into the world of neurology, you’ll find me riding motorbikes across the country. Having been responsible for iQ’s largest UniLet Multi-Site building in Manchester with over 700 beds across 3 portfolios, I recently moved into the world of Project Management and Refurbishments.PROJECT MANAGEMENTIn my first year of Project Management, I have successfully delivered 3 summer refurbishments to the value of £2.5m. On programme, within budget and to an excellent standard, recognised by my peers who someone who gets stuck in and doesn't shy away from the challenge. I also had the opportunity to once again, raise a further £10k for British Heart Foundation (or an Elephants tonnage if you prefer) building upon my previous work in this area and giving back to our communities whilst reducing our waste products.OPERATIONS MANAGEMENTWith just shy of 9 years’ experience working for iQ I have been responsible for a portfolio with annual Revenue of over £4m along with a diverse and longstanding relationship with one of our closest University Partners. I held various responsibilities across the broader business including Health and Safety Representative for the Northwest Region, ambassador for our internal systems and security partnerships. Within my first 6 months, I had already over-delivered NOI by 5% and achieved a 60% growth on Summer Revenue against targets. I have led my team to award winning status including an award nomination under the Global Student Living Index. I consistently led my team to outperform against company metrics including Best Companies (3*) and Culture Amp. I have a sharp focus on inspiring my team to be successful by nurturing an environment of individual responsibility and ownership.One of my most notable achievements has been leading a project diverting over £150k in furniture from landfill to use in our Student Accommodation buildings providing a direct contribution to BHF of over £10k in sales.
