I helped clients with content marketing strategy, brand strategy, website copywriting, email marketing, and other content writing. I also managed a team of freelancers to assist with web design, graphic design, copywriting, social media, SEO, and analytics. My client base consisted mostly of accounting firms, but also included clients in insurance, online.

I was responsible for the full operations function of the headquarters in South Africa. I managed different departments, including accounting and finance, branding and marketing, manufacturing, local and international sales, and human resources.

• I was responsible for the full financial function of the group, with headquarters in South Africa and a subsidiary in the United Kingdom. The company is a sports brand and its activities include manufacturing, imports.
• I had to set up relationships with new shipping providers, and helped the team to navigate customs into new territories, including Canada, Israel and South Korea.
• I implemented and streamlined internal processes, which in turn improved productivity and communications between departments.
• I improved the budgeting and forecasting methods and designed and formalised new monthly reports to shareholders. These helped us to recognise risks and issues earlier and react to them faster.
• I identified problems with the product costing method and corrected prices to boost profits.
