At FHI 360, I am part of the wonderful Technology, Architecture, and Planning (TAP) team! With the TAP team, I have collaborated on refining IT work intake processes, expanding and vetting FHI 360's application portfolio in LeanIX, and standardizing practices in our Information Solutions and Services (ISS) department alongside industry experts within our IT Governance work stream.At every step along the way, I work to ensure that end-users are considered no matter where they are in the world, as FHI 360 is a global organization. I have assisted on UX work, which ranges from focus groups, to developing proto personas, and to giving feedback on website design for our Project Management methodology hub. This site houses standard ISS templates and other supplementary information that I have additionally helped to plan, develop, and finalize as part of the overall IT Governance work stream.As the organization collaborates almost completely remotely, the digital aspect of my job is of utmost concern. My team and I are highly aware of this, being remote workers ourselves. We work continuously to promote collaboration not only in our planning phase but at the implementation level as well. Taking on an iterative approach ensures all parties are kept up to date and that all changes we agree on as a group are beneficial in practice.
