Managed the ADA’s image as the primary media contact, managed crisis communications involving dental X-rays and silver dental fillings, managed the 20-member national media spokesperson program and the press office at the annual meeting. Facilitated spokesperson appearances in national media including CNN and the Today Show.

Supervised the 19-member leadership group the Council of Communications and its $241,000 budget, planned its bi-annual in-person meetings and created activity reports for leaders. Managed the media spokesperson program, performed media relations duties and drafted member communications.
