With 1500+ users, it serves as a hub for innovation across key science and technology sectors.

It aims to strengthen UK capabilities in open telecoms, attracting overseas companies and R&D talent, simulating public and private investment, and proactively promoting UK capability internationally.I currently lead the business support activity that is provided to early-stage innovation companies to enable spin-outs, start-ups and scale-ups to accelerate their growth, helping the UK to develop a more competitive and dynamic market.

I led the work of Student Hubs at the University of Bristol, supporting Bristol students to engage in social action. I oversaw the delivery and development of all programme areas, finances, impact measurement and our strategy and development. As part of this role, I delivered the Social Innovation Programme run in collaboration with Burges Salmon LLP, a student consultancy programme that trains participants in innovation skills to provide expertise to local charities.

Managing and coordinating a two-day conference on behalf of The Centre for Youth Impact, a community of organisations that work together to progress thinking and practice around impact measurement in youth work and services for young people.

Supporting organisations to join the Impact Accelerator, a 12 month programme created to improve service design and evaluation in the youth social action sector. This focused on organising and coordinating a residential trip for the 2019 cohort.

Worthwhile supports its participants with a comprehensive 12-month training programme. It provided me with specialist knowledge on working in social impact and intensive skills development.

Winchester

Responsible for coordinating three of Winchester Hub’s community volunteering programmes, Youth Theatre supporting young people to have access to the arts, LinkAges aiming to close the intergenerational gap and Give it a Go giving students the opportunity to take part in microvolunteering events. This included leading on the recruitment, induction and support of all volunteers and ensuring continued growth, consolidation and sustainability of these programmes. During this time, I coordinated national campaigns such as Student Volunteering Week and #IWill Week.
