The unit received the Meritorious Unit Citation in 2016 for its sustained outstanding service in warlike operations.- Evolved JEWOSU's deployed support model in 2002/2003 and co-led the creation of the Australian Airborne Countermeasures Team with DSTG. This innovative team received the 2013 Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Sector Management and the Gold Award in Sustainable Excellence in Public Sector Management, recognizing its groundbreaking contributions to national security.- Enhanced United Nations Command-Rear's engagement with the Government of Japan, U.S. Forces Japan, the UNC-R designated bases in Japan, and the embassies of nine signatory UNC Member States to ensure viable basing options in Japan for UN forces defending the Republic of Korea. Successfully planned and demonstrated UNC-R's ability to support to the international rules-based order in North-East Asia.- Recognized for outstanding service in the Election Task Force, Headquarters International Security Assistance Force, Kabul, Afghanistan in 2009.As I approach retirement from full-time service in early 2025, I'm transitioning to Reserve service and pursuing photography.
