Leading industry and external engagement Changing the Landscpage project with the theme of Diversity and Inclusion in STEM fields Interdisciplinary working with the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences, liaising with academic staff (UWS and external), Research and Enterprise, diversity and inclusion experts and professional bodiesCollaboration work and the early formation of the Inclusion Leaders’ Group, identifying key stakeholders and group actions Reporting on project progress and activities, managing EDI engagement with organisations including EQUATE Scotland, CeeD and Innovation Centres and working at a wide range of levels within universities and companies Collaborating with colleagues in Enterprise Services to share company information, developing and delivering industry engagement events, ensuring specialised activities integrated within different schools/disciplines and engaging with UWS alumni Driving broader knowledge and awareness of Inclusion aligning with Athena Swan and UWS HR policiesBusiness development approach to industry and the third sector promoting access to UWS student talent including graduate roles, work related learning and industry events underpinning inclusivity as well as engagement with academic expertise through CPD, Knowledge Transfer Partnership and research funding Development and design of project publication content and case studies, liaising with marketing team on inclusive and diverse marketing design ideas for promotion on webpage and social media Contributed to the University's annual Learning, Teaching & Research 2019 conference, presenting to academic colleagues, industry and international partners in the theme of Meeting Societal Challenges: Changing the Landscape in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields, linking research, industry and the third sector in enrich diversity and inclusion
