I have worked as a SME in HP-UX Engineering and support since the early days of HP-UX. I helped support over 6000 HP-UX servers in an enterprise environment across multiple companies: DXC, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Hewlett-Packard Inc., Microfocus simultaneously. I have been part of the various data center spins offs and mergers for each of these companies. My role consisted of the build out of HP-UX servers, and ongoing support for patching and security compliance scripting (ksh/bash/perl). My responsibilities are now primarily support for delivery of HP-UX in the care/maintenance of HPVM (HP Integrity Virtual Machines – OS base hypervisor) multiple farms supporting over a hundred guests. I have built and supported production mission critical clustered servers (Serviceguard) in local/site2site/DR configurations While my strength is HP-UX, I have experience with Linux as well. I’m currently working on getting my RHCSA certification.
