Travelling with an immunization team across the state of Texas to administer COVID-19 vaccinations and booster doses to the intellectually and developmentally disabled (IDD) population and their caregivers who may have trouble accessing vaccinations and healthcare services. This project is in conjunction with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).Preforms vaccination duties at flagship store that consists of data entry, pre-check, final check, vaccine preparations, counseling and administration.

Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program- Participated in collaborative research with dermatology clinic to assess the impact of an embedded pharmacist model within the clinic for patients on biologic treatment for psoriasis. - Gather information on annual cost per therapy for biologic therapy for treatment of psoriasis as supplemental knowledge of treatment therapy cost. - Assisted in treatment therapy review for GI clinic for patients newly initiated on Hep B/Hep C treatment as well as Crohn’s Disease and drafting letters of appeal after prior authorization denials.- Completed drug initiation profile review for specialty drugs at Baylor Scott & White Specialty Pharmacy.- Presented to fellow pharmacists on dermatological/rheumatological disease states and created a continuing education (CE) presentation on safety and efficacy of vaccines with patients who are considered immunocompromised due to biologic therapy.- Teaching experience with APPE students at medication therapy management in the Santa Fe clinic. - Created drug monograph request on Zilretta®, an extended-release corticosteroid injection for pain management for osteoarthritis of the knee.

Administers immunization and provides education and counseling to patient on proper medication use. Participates with Walmart Wellness Day to provide point of care testing on glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure readings. Also participated in Walmart Wellness Day during Texas Tribune Fest 2019 providing point of care services to more than 70+ patients.
