The Birth Center was closed· Attend and care for laboring, delivering and postpartum mothers. Assess newborns. Deliver all aspects of care until discharge of family· Travel to homes for follow-up care and assessment. Provide education in postpartum care, newborn care, breastfeeding and family wellness· In depth phone triage and care plan development for prenatal, postpartum, newborn and well-women· Teach classes in newborn care, postpartum care, pregnancy and lactation· Assist in maintaining Birth Center Pharmacy to ensure compliance with hospital and state regulation
