DFW Flooring is a flooring business that serves the DFW area. I have had the opportunity of being the purchasing manager in which I order stock materials, special order materials, manage customer files and work with suppliers.

As an active musician at my university, I saw a need for the professional development of musicians outside of the classroom. Musical skill and technicality tends to be overemphasized without giving students the opportunity to apply themselves in the music industry, leaving them musically skilled but without the tools to develop their career outside the practice room. Musical skill and technicality tends to be overemphasized without giving students the opportunity to apply themselves in the music industry, leaving them musically skilled but without the tools to develop their career outside the practice room. I founded and led Professional Development for Musicians at TCU from April of 2020 until I graduated in May of 2021, and I continue to assist with organizational policy as needed. This organization brought several experts in the field to inform musicians at TCU on musician health and wellness, professional auditions, and masterclasses from professionals as well. Masterclasses not only bring an outside perspective on musical skills, but also allow the students to practice professionalism with those in the music industry. The organization is still running today and is growing each semester. This year the executive board will be bringing in more aspects of musical service, including teaching students with disabilities in order to give musicians an even wider scope of opportunity to serve and give back to the music community. I have had the amazing privilege of being in the TCU Symphony Orchestra. I am able to expand my studies from biology and dive into fine arts, making me a well rounded student. Being part of the TCU Symphony Orchestra is quite an honor, with multiple opportunities like playing at the Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth and playing in the TMEA convention in the spring of 2019. I was given the extremely special opportunity of working with children in the age range of 5 to 13 years of age. In this position I helped children in their walk with Christ while also helping them overcome their fears like riding zip-lines, rock climbing, and challenging them to be the best possible people that they could.
