As BIM Specialist (Mechanical): -Uses Builing Information Modelling (Revit and Smart Plant, SP3D) to perform and update drawings for visualization to be used as a reference during construction such as ducting and piping layouts, placing of mechanical equipment, duct and piipe size tagging, equipment tagging and dimensioning-Facilitates and conducts training and lectures to team members on how to use the Mechanical Revit and show the importance of Revit as a BIM platformAssists and coordinates with project team in BIM project setup for Mechanical Group-Performs BIM quantity take off as needed -Reviews design models and suggest possible solutions if problem arises during project coordination. Uses Navisworks for clash detection-Assists in BIM documentation for Revit/ BIM standards as well as creating libraries for Mechanical Group -Creates and updates BIM Models as per design and project requirements-Produce, extract and submit drawings in 2D format (Autocad/Microstation) complete with titleblocks and drawing format from BIM platform to be issued to sub-contractors for Bid and ConstructionAs Mechanical Design/ Engineer (HVAC)-Calculates total pressure loss for ducted system to be used as a basis in equipment selection-Performs HVAC equipment sizing and selection, duct design, sizing and layouting using various software-Attends regular coordination meeting and model review using Navisworks-Prepares drawing in conjunction with the calculated building requirements such as ventilation and air- conditioning systems using Microstation V8i and Autocad-Prepares transmittal on drawings for submission for sub-contractor and making sure that the drawings are complete and correct-Supersedes and updates drawing as per current revision before submission

Monitors the work on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the schedule, production budget and technical accuracy. - Develop technical and researches design solutions. Review and check codes study. Make coordination with all related disciplines as needed.- Obtains approvals and decision from Senior Engineer in a timely manner that allows the project to flow smoothly and quickly through the engineering and architectural department. - Prepares and assures that the project records data and documents are properly maintained and stored for future reference.
