I work in the Education dept. at Tri-C teaching FYE and Early childhood Education EDUC 1011.I am teaching this semester because my students in Chemistry and Physics have their Internal Assessments due as well as their Group four projects. I intend to start up again in the fall.

I have a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Administration from Cleveland State University. I hold and administrative and teaching license from the State of Ohio. I have training in Danielson, Marzano and McCrel to further enhance my leadership skills. I helped develop the Praxis III rubric and have worked as an evaluator, for the ODE for ten years. I held a high school assistant principal position for Lakewood City schools, in charge of 687 students, until my retirement. I was offered a multi-year contract by Superintendent Patterson upon the completion of my first two year contract.I have taught chemistry, Biology, Earth science and physics for the past thirty years; I know teachers, students’ parents, and administrators. As an instructional leader I can collaborate with all stakeholders to develop the motivation and foster the positive relationships necessary to meet state and district goals, and ensure that each student is prepared with 21st century global skills. My experiences, contagious enthusiasm, dedication and professional growth enable me to have a profound impact on your students and community. I love teaching and I believe in our children!

I worked hard to give every student the best education possible while enforcing the student code of conduct. I evaluated and supported every teacher I was fortunate enough to work with, and I enjoyed being part of an innovative, caring administration team. It is a great district to work for - full of caring professionals dedicated to children and life long learning.
