I had the privilege of contributing to Whistic's mission in the field of TPRM, where I embraced opportunities for growth and development. My journey at Whistic commenced as a Senior Software Engineer, allowing me to play a significant role in feature development using technologies such as Java, Maven, Liquibase, AWS, Angular, TypeScript, and HTML.*Engineering Contributions:*In my role as a Senior Software Engineer, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable features to our customers.*Transition to Senior SDET:*I later transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET). In this capacity, I collaborated closely with my scrum-based team, focusing on quality assurance to ensure the software's reliability and performance.*Quality Assurance Efforts:*As a Senior SDET, I crafted and executed test plans, test cases, and test scripts with meticulous attention to detail. I also maintained documentation and defect tracking using Jira to facilitate effective issue resolution.*Ensuring Software Integrity:*I was responsible for automating regression tests for my team's features and updates, ensuring these did not adversely affect existing functionality or introduce new defects. Java, TestNG, Selenium and Rest Assured were the primary components of our custom automation framework.*Mentoring and Guiding New SDETs*In addition to my role as a Senior Software Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET), I mentored and guided three new SDETs who joined my team, bringing them up to speed with our automation framework and with the product and features we were testing.*Collaborative Approach:*Throughout my journey at Whistic, I prioritized collaboration with fellow engineers and product managers. • Developed an intranet-based commission-tracking solution in ASP.NET Core, with OpenID Connect authentication to ADFS - allows executives, branch managers, and employees to view their pertinent commission information by period or date range and administrators to manage commission data.• Built secure and robust data extraction and transfer processes.• Assessed data requirements for Domo implementation and implemented the corresponding data flow.

• Analyzed needs and requirements for and then built and put into production an application for the real-estate planning department of a multi-billion dollar, international, Utah-based corporation which transformed a cumbersome spreadsheet-based process into a system that utilized regularly updated, existing corporate database sources to compile data, perform analyses, and present essential findings required for staff to efficiently and accurately plan for future real-estate needs.
