Évolué, was founded with the purpose of funding my grand plan, a pet project - an animal sanctuary and educational facility for children. I envisioned a safe haven for our fellow earthlings to run free and a creative classroom concept where children could be guided on compassionate treatment of animals. I was driven by empathy for animals and the belief that imparting the right values to our young, was the key to progress into a united future.I decided to provide styling for homes. Inexpensive, with a short turnaround time, it could give great presence to properties, if done well. Furthermore this complemented the real estate boom, providing competitive advantage amongst the myriad of homes available for sale and leasing.That idea did not take off. Entering a period of a potential economic expansion, properties became highly sought after and homes sold themselves. A differentiating factor was unnecessary. When I got pregnant, I shelved my grand plan indefinitely.On hindsight, better time management and capital allocation would have highly benefited my business. Apart from capital losses and deep frustrations, that was a gainful period for me. I acquired skills and knowledge that I might never be able to if I were to continue in most of the jobs in my employment history. Show less
