About Lynn Cohan

The fulfillment I have found in this career field comes not only from enjoying the day to day work which I truly do, but also from working with others to accomplish their goals. You wouldn't think that social interaction would be a huge part of accounting and finance, right? But it is! The unique ability to really listen to and hear what the "customer" needs and wants to accomplish, and then delivering that for them is the best part of the job. Whether it is a candidate searching for the right position, an operations manager looking to train staff on how to interpret P&Ls, the external customer looking to identify and drive operational efficiencies for cost savings, senior finance leadership looking for new and innovative best practice ideas to improve internal controls that they can deliver up the management chain, or C-Level leaders looking for reporting formats they can easily interpret based on key data mining, the most fulfilling part of the job is "hearing" their needs and working to successfully drive change.
