I am a seasoned trial lawyer with a diverse civil litigation defense practice, specializing in defending catastrophic, high exposure losses. I have significant experience in matters involving gas fires and explosions. I represent clients in cases across the United States, through all stages of litigation. My clients are in construction, hospitality, insurance, medical, retail, and product design and manufacturing. My practice areas span commercial and construction litigation, mass torts, personal injury/negligence, and premises and products liability defense. I am admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, and Maryland.Prior to joining Campbell Conroy & O’Neil, I was an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia, where I tried more than 40 felony jury trials to verdict, and more than 100 felony bench trials. The majority of my time was spent in the Major Trials Unit, trying attempted murders and armed robberies, and in the Dangerous Drug Offenders Unit, investigating violent drug traffickers. I was also appointed as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where I was assigned to a long-term prosecution of an international drug cartel.My entire career has been in litigation. I appreciate what is truly important to my clients: frequent communication and an understanding of their business objectives.I am a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC)—an invitation-only organization consisting of accomplished defense attorneys, corporate counsel, and insurance industry executives who have achieved professional distinction during their careers—and I serve in leadership roles on the Admissions and Diversity Committees and the Construction Law and Trial Tactics Sections. I am also the Co-Chair of FedSERVES, a committee within the FDCC dedicated to civil justice and fellowship through philanthropy and charitable works. I founded our firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee. I am also active in the Defense Research Institute (DRI), serving in leadership roles for the Women in the Law Committee and the Fire Science and Litigation Specialized Law Group of the Products Liability Committee. I am a frequent lecturer and author, and regularly appear as a featured speaker at defense bar seminars.I live outside of Philadelphia with my husband and son, and our three rescue dogs. I love cooking, reading, and spending time down the shore.
