Program Director, Career Training Usa
Current• Direct the recruitment, credential vetting, visa processing, and in-program support for international students/young professionals who intern/train in the USA annually; oversee $1.2-million+ budget• Lead strategic planning and goal-setting to ensure the continuous streamlining and enhancement of program operations; analyze opportunities for growth and improving efficiency• Develop and maintain the program’s branded image and reputation; strategize, implement, and evaluate marketing and recruitment goals; monitor and analyze competition and work and travel market to develop strategies for gaining competitive advantage• Ensure all internships and training programs comply with federal program regulations and immigration law; oversee host employer compliance with wage, labor, and workers’ compensation laws• Assist with conflict resolution and address complaints or performance concerns during programs• Via Agile framework, collaborate with product managers and engineers to define user stories and prioritize the backlog for developing custom software that meets customer needs; create documentation and user guides for internal and external users of our software• Set and monitor progress of achieving OKRs and program goals; collect, monitor and evaluate customer and stakeholder feedback in order to make data-driven decisions and set vision for future program changes and improvements• Create onboarding resources and value-added services, such us two online orientation systems, peer mentor/language partner programs, visa tips videos, and a Career Guidance webinar series• Serve as advisory council member for the DEI committee and Inclusion/Retention subcommittee; assist with redesign of employee handbook and our organizational recruiting and onboarding processes• Through use of Paylocity and Lattice, interview, train, and develop a team of 4-5 full-time staff members
