Senior Manager, Financial Operations
Current- Leads Physician Payment, Accounts Payable, and Payroll Customer Service teams- Manages, hires, trains, coaches, and develops employees; evaluates team members’ performance and training needs; coordinates and monitors the setting of individual and team goals; helps identify career paths within team that are needed or not defined; delegates meaningful work and mentors others to promote leader growth; keeps team focused on the division's key initiatives and priorities while promoting autonomy and authority; creates and drives short- and long-term goals that fit within the team strategy- Architecture of Workday conversion from JD Edwards legacy system for all of AP and Physician Payment transactions, including payments, deferrals, and all tax issues- Runs year-end processes, including company communications; creating, balancing and processing 1099 forms; IRS submissions; monitors and implements IRS changes - Monitors, implements and enforces State Tax laws, including creating communications, training, and leading system changes to be compliant- Ensures that all payroll/compensation questions and issues are resolved in a complete, accurate, and timely manner, acts as a consultant in interpreting policies- Understands how team decisions impact a broader scope; fosters an environment with sales teams, business partners, team that leads to relationship building and collaborative problem solving- Oversees implementation of independent contractor garnishments- Develop and implements deferrals and direct deposit processes
