Lynn Walsh is an Emmy award-winning journalist who has worked in investigative, data and TV journalism at the national level as well as locally in California, Ohio, Texas and Florida. Lynn is an international speaker and trainer, focused on helping people create ethical and trustworthy content and protecting people's right to information, freedom of speech and freedom of the press.She is currently the Assistant Director at Trusting News and an adjunct professor at Point Loma Nazarene University. Previously she served on the National Board for the Society of Professional Journalists and during her term as National President for the organization spoke out against threats to the First Amendment while working to protect and defend journalists and journalism. She also served the journalism organization as a member of SPJ’s FOI and Ethics committees. She is a proud Bobcat Alumna and graduated from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Lynn loves the beach, sunsets, exploring the outdoors and is always trying to find a way to live more sustainably. She believes the glass is half-full, the truth is always out there and that hard work, dedication and personality can make any dream come true.
