About Lynn Mullen
As A Project Accountant / Project Controls Analyst, I bring over 20+ years of experience in project accounting and cost control. My goal is "Client Satisfaction with the financial success of my assigned projects." I am the Liaison between the Project Management team and the executive leadership team. I start at the beginning with the bid summary and work with the project manager to develop a budget that is custom to his management style. I monitor that budget and its committed costs and actual costs through the life of the project including change order management and the associated updates, I work closely with the PMs with the monthly surveying of the project schedule, % complete versus budget, and report the projects earned value. We as a team report to Management in Charge the project's financial status, our explanations, and our recovery plan if needed. Further adjustment may or may not happen depending on decisions made as a group. The work in progress, % complete, at complete, and project closeout, determining Earned value, under billings/over billings and the billings both coming in from our subs and billings going out are all part of the project flow and part of my day to day job description. I maintain the fixed assets, acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules. managing projects closing movement Assets.Completion of a 4.2 billion dollar restart project in the Virgin Islands. As a Project costing and asset accountant for a refinery restart and a fuel storage facility in the Caribbean that sat idle for a decade. Prior, a 295 million dollar successloop.
