Responsible for managing several high value and complex projects within the Innovation Directorate. The role encompasses both programme and project management responsibilities. In summary, these include:• Project documentation; project briefs, stage gate reporting and highlight reports.• Project resourcing. • Project planning, monitoring and budget management. • Tracking and reporting of activities using the Information Management System (IMS). • Stakeholder engagement involving senior members of the rail industry. • Promotion of projects through presenting at conferences and steering groups and engaging with our communication team to ensure there is a presence in the press and on social media. • Organising and facilitating conferences, steering groups and project meetings. Management of a highly prioritised project under the company future fit programme, to implement a training platform within RSSB. By taking the project from initial concept and have developed a successful business case which has buy in from key industry stakeholders. This project has significant financial benefits for the company and will make a fundamental change to the company’s future offerings to its members and non-members within the rail sector. Representative in several change projects for the directorate, inputting into the wider business strategy implementation of change into the company e.g. office relocation, establishment of new working terms and conditions and future fit business planning. A Health and Wellbeing Champion in relation to our Time to Change status, to support the wellbeing of staff at RSSB.
