Assist students in their general orientation to the campus and provide information. Participate in Residential College duty on a regular basis. Work at least 4 hours at the front desk of assigned area each week, and additional hours during other periods such as opening, closing, and/or emergencies. Assist in opening and closing of residential areas at vacation periods and at the beginning and end of each semester. Develop and maintain a supportive working relationship with Housing and Residential Life staff members.Role model departmental policies and procedures. Maintain minimum cumulative GPA throughout the role. Encourage residents in meeting their academic goals.Work collaboratively to plan and implement programs, which includes logistics, communications, and. budgetary responsibilities.

Create, implement, and evaluate monthly marketing plans for the Center’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), student class-visits, and email campaigns. Execute content creation for marketing campaigns. Coordinate and aid in event planning, including day-of preparation & set-up. Compose and edit entries for the Center’s Annual Report, working closely with the Director. Design and distribute marketing deliverables (posters, flyers, leaflets). Utilize the Center’s CVENT Event Management Software to maximize the effectiveness of email marketing campaigns and create new contact groups. Edit podcasts using Audacity Software to increase outreach. Build connections with other academic departments and student-affiliated organizations within the University of Miami community. Greet Center visitors and guests and provide strong customer service to constituents. Assist with other projects as assigned.
