I’m an Industrial Designer, Creative Technologist, Artist, Musician and Innovator with a career built around using technology as a creative medium with a focus on co-creating with machine intelligence. A true global citizen, I’ve worked with and built creative teams in France, Netherlands, Russia, USA, UK and Japan.Over the last decade within Nike’s Innovation Design Studio, I have pioneered the use of Generative Design, incubating & building the industry’s first team of cutting-edge multidisciplinary & multinational creatives who focus on defining Nike’s future products and creative processes living at the intersection of design, digital craft, art, data and science, co-creating bespoke peak-performance products with the world’s best athletes.In 2015 I led the team that delivered the first true-to-size and gender-specific sprint spike for Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, three-time Olympic gold medallist and a ten-time world champion. This patented, groundbreaking Innovation leveraged performance data and Female athlete insights, launching at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and helped to trailblaze inclusive design powered by algorithmic design. A decade later Generative Design has become a pillar of modern design at Nike and my team has impacted the biggest and boldest product franchises, relentlessly redefining modern aesthetic and performance, deeply transforming the design culture of the brand. In recent years, I have focused my team research agenda on post-digital creative augmentation, leveraging immersive technology such as augmented reality to blur the lines between the physical world and virtual world, designing products regardless of the dimensions in which they live.As a keynote speaker, I have passionately shared my insights on the topic of algorithms and machines intelligence complementing and augmenting human creative practice to build game-changing, data-informed performance footwear.As an emerging technology enthusiast, I’m the Co-Founder of Streetartifacts.xyz, a project to capture street art and artifacts using 4k color textured 3D scanning, geo-mapping and augmented reality to replace ephemeral collective memory into a timeless, augmented world.
