CurrentAs a Local 600 Camera Assistant, I've produced an informational video series aimed at helping prospective college students navigate the FAFSA process and secure financial aid. I interviewed experts and underserved students to develop supportive content and operated cinema-level equipment, ensuring visuals met industry standards for artistic and technical quality.Additionally, I've produced an instructional video series for the World Series of Poker app, aimed at teaching beginners the fundamentals of poker play. I collaborated with renowned poker tournament hosts to create accessible content.As a Camera Assistant, I prepare industry-standard film equipment for Production. My general work duties are as follows:-Evaluates necessary rental equipment based on the cinematographer's technical and aesthetic direction.-Maintains equipment in working order and tests equipment specifications across all final camera rigs.-Rigs cameras for various scenarios (tripod, crane, dolly, jib, gimbal, handheld) and configures specifications including lenses, mounting accessories, frame rate, ISO, shutter, aperture, bit rate, resolution, and color profile.-Updates and manages the slate to sync audio and video.-Documents shot details and ensures the footage is properly organized and labeled for editing.-Manages inventory controls ahead of production needs.-Collaborates with the production team to take corrective action on technical problems regarding the shots and transitions.
