Served as the lead Strategic Communicator for DOD’s Office of Diversity Management and Equal Opportunity (ODMEO), providing speeches, briefings, reports and other content development geared toward increasing diversity and inclusion in the Department of Defense. Through digital media and strategic communication, I helped ODMEO engage with and stay connected to a large audience that included very specific, hard to reach, demographics.

I provided Strategic Communications (SC) support to clients in defense and health and advised on social media initiatives. I developed an award-winning Social Media Strategy, Policy and Implementation Plan as well as a detailed “How-To” Social Media Toolkit to support the roll-out of more than 75 military medical Facebook Pages. Additionally, I have trained more than 400 personnel on the safe and effective use of social media, vastly improving communication with patients, beneficiaries and stakeholders.

Prior to joining Booz Allen, I worked as an account executive for O’Keeffe & Company, a full-service marketing communications firm focused on high-technology and government clients. In this role, I provided public relations, event planning and outreach support for multiple clients.
