Leading and collaborating with talented graphic and web designers, social media managers, and communication specialists to develop and execute strategic initiatives for external and internal audiences.

This job has multiple components. 1. Member of the college’s five-person executive leadership group responsible for setting the strategic direction of the college in concert with board members. 2. Use expertise in strategic communications, in collaboration collaborate with team members, to ensure the college’s brand is compelling, consistent and aligned with its strategic goals across multiple platforms. 3. Work with and guide our International Programs team to establish communication and marketing strategies to enroll and retain students from six continents. 4. Serve as the leader for Facilities and Capital Projects which is responsible for facilities maintenance, capital projects, emergency management, commuter services and events.

Design, implement, and supervise all aspects of college communications and marketing, recruiting, community outreach, government relations, and public information. Member of college executive team.

Created and managed strategic campaigns for clients in renewable energy industries. Highlights include designing and implementing plan to inform and engage the public and government to garner support for significant solar project in the United States.

Wrote hour-long programs for The History Channel, A&E, and Discovery. Supervised production teams.

Produced and directed promotional videos for the American Medical Association; Lion’s Clubs of America; United Airlines and; clients of Bozell International including the Milk Board, Quaker Oats, and Gatorade.

Produced and wrote news special programming including documentaries, special reports, and sweeps week features.
