Chartering Specialist
Current- Ensure comprehensive fulfillment of the Contract of Affreightment (COA) throughout the contract's duration, maintaining a deep understanding of its terms and conditions.- Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions for SPOT lighterings and SPOT voyages using market analysis, TCE estimates, and Worldscale, collaborating effectively with brokers and customers.- Provide weekly weather workability forecasts to customers based on AET offshore parameters for lightering STS, enabling the anticipation and mitigation of potential schedule delays.- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of individual customer requirements for vessel clearance, ensuring compliance with all specific criteria.- Conduct sanctions checks and collaborate with the lightering team to clear vessels, ensuring alignment with AET's internal acceptability standards.- Anticipate and plan for bunkering needs, dry docking, and other maintenance requirements to effectively manage vessels' TCE during non-commercial operations.- Utilize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and PowerBI to input new customer information or amend existing records, ensuring adherence to AET policy.- Collaborate with Post-Fixture, Operations, and Finance teams to maintain and balance the P&L in IMOS, promoting transparency and providing a clear understanding of the expected daily TCE for each vessel.
